CLC Reiterates Stance

As we highlighted in our November post, Industry Accreditation Withdrawal, the Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) will be withdrawing Industry Accreditation/ Grandfather Rights as a route to a CSCS card from 31st December 2024, with no card renewals permitted from 30th June, 2024.

On the 23rd of January, 2023, the Construction Leadership Council (CLC) once again reiterated this fact and encouraged all Industry Accreditation card holders to take action now to retain their CSCS SKILLcards.

Blue, gold or black CSCS SKILLcard holders can gain the appropriate cards by following one of these routes:

For those in our industry a recognised qualification would constitute a Ductwork Level 2 or a Level 3 qualification, as well as Paddeco’s own qualifications: Ventilation Hygiene, Fire & Smoke Damper and Fire Resisting Ductwork (all of which can only be achieved with Paddeco).
