Declaration of Compliance Service

Features include:

• Our licenced inspectors visit the workplace to inspect fire and smoke control dampers and ensure they have been installed to manufacturer specifications and in-line with the BSEFSD National Occupational Standard.
• We determine whether or not the individual who installed the damper(s) is legally compliant to do so, against the competence requirements of the Building Regulations, 2010.
• Our inspectors ensure that the classification of selected damper meets the requirements of the compartment wall’s fire strategy, into which it has been installed.
• The installation will also be measured against the BSEHV06 National Occupational Inspection Standard.
• Following the visit, we produce a Declaration of Compliance certificate which can be presented to the client / building control / principal contractor as evidence that damper installations meet legal competency and compliance requirements.
